Welcome to the Thrilling World of Thespis Theater’s Evening Acting School!
As we embark on our exciting third year, we are ecstatic to announce the launch of six vibrant courses tailored for aspiring actors aged 8 to 108! Our classes will be held at the dynamic UWS in Manhattan and the Thespis Theater in Astoria, New York.

THESPIS Theater facilities include a 172-seat theater, well-equipped classrooms, and rehearsal spaces, as well as the innovative NEWTOWN STAGE (a black box studio). We’ve crafted the perfect environment for you to unleash your creativity!
4. Promotion of Our Students:
The center and its management are proud to host numerous productions (film, theater, etc.) within the cultural center. Our goal is to maximize the exposure of our students, giving them invaluable experience in the field.

Our students can look forward to exclusive access to selected events, film festivals, theatrical shows, interviews, and presentations throughout the year at both THESPIS Theater and the NEWTOWN Stage.

The Hellenic Cultural Center of New York is thrilled to announce the continuation and expansion of its collaboration with the esteemed music director, Phyto Stratis. The Greek children’s choir under Phyto Stratis will once again be a vibrant part of our cultural center this year.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! This year, we are delighted to welcome an English children’s choir as well!

Get ready to dance! Classes will kick off on Tuesday, September 30, and Thursday, October 2nd.
– For our youngest stars, Kindergarten to 3rd grade: join us every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM
– For our older dancers, 4th grade and above: come every Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM
